For those of you unfamiliar with cub scouts, the Arrow of Light is the highest award you can earn in the Cub Scout program. Jayce, Alek, and their friend Aaron have worked very hard to earn their Arrow of Light. It has been a journey, and an adventure but they did it. We are very proud of each of them.
Of course we can't forget their scout leader that have helped make this possible. The boys have had great leader that has encouraged them and pushed them. We are grateful for his hard work and dedication. Thank you Heath! We would also like to thank Pappy, Grandma, Mari, and Aly for making the day special for Jayce and Alek. It was fun to have you here for the weekend. Jayce and Alek are lucky to have such great grand-parents and aunts that are willing to drive to Vernal from Salt Lake to show support for our family. Thank you for the flashlights. The boys haven't stopped playing with them yet.
Most important, we need to thank Grant. He is a great dad and example. Grants is highly decorated as a scout and loves the scout program he encourages Jayce and Alek to do their best and to earn as many badges and pins as possible. He is always teaching them. I am thankful for his knowledge of the program. For some reason I can't wrap my head around it. He keeps me and the boys straight. Lucky for the boys Grant is their next scout leader.
